DreamSuite Series Two Effects part of the DreamSuite Bundle Includes 14 fantastic effects/filters which are easy to use.
2 1/4 Frame: create as many frames as you want reproduce a photo-realistic 2.25 film frame around your photos. Lets you change exposure numbers, film brand etc...
4x5 Frame: reproduce a photo-realistic 4 x 5 film frame.
If you like turning photo’s into old sepia grainy or dreamy looking photos this is for you.
Dreamy Photo: make a warm romantic feeling to your images, great for wedding photos. (a personal favorite)
Film Grain: turn your images into a grainy old look. (a personal favorite)
Film Strip: reproduce photo-realistic filmstrips. Change the exposure numbers, film brand and transform each photo inside each frame.
Film Frame Art: create photo collages with film frames showing their photos. Modify each frame to your needs.
Shown here is the Film Frame Art filter.
Mash: mesh and weave together strips of your photo to create an eye-catching unique effect. Adjust the mesh strips to your liking.
Mosaic: makes your photos look like a mosaic tile.
Photo Press: press parts of a photo down into the background and you can also produce wrinkles.
Photo Strips: easy to use effect lets you cut your photos into strips with shading and depth.
Plastic Wrap: make a small feathered selection and run the filter to get that plastic wrap look on your image. You can get some weird wonderful results.
Puzzle Pieces: this is great for turning any image into a puzzle. Ever tried making an image into a puzzle using Photoshop’s puzzle shapes? Only to find that the shapes don’t quite fit together right and where’s the corner pieces? Well now you can use Puzzle Pieces filter in DreamSuite and get stunning results in a flash. (a personal favorite)
Applyed to the image is Dreamy Photo and Puzzle Pieces.
Tile: transform your design using hundreds of different options. You can get some very cool appealing results.
Wrinkle: another fun filter to use. Applies wrinkles and crinkles to your flat images. Great for making an image into a flag.
Installing:
Dream Suite Bundle (Dream suite one)works as both a plug-in and as a stand alone application for Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP or Power Macintosh systems running OS 9 or higher. Dream Suite Bundle runs native under all versions of OS X.
Just run the disk and follow the on screen information, if you want it to work as a plug-in point to your plug-ins folder. I would make a plug-ins folder outside of Photoshop, just in case you have to un-install Photoshop that way you don’t have to install every other plug-in you have again. The first time you launch the program it will ask you for the serial number. All the Dream Suite Series comes with the Mac and PC versions both on the disk.
My thoughts:
Overall Dream Suite, has put together a great and strong collection of filters that will work as a Plug-in for Photoshop and as a stand alone program.
The Dream Suite plug-in is compatible with the Actions Palette in Photoshop so you can record you Dream Suite effect as an Action.
