DreamSuite Series One Effects part of the DreamSuite Bundle Includes 18 rock solid filters for designers. This fantastic package of Adobe Photoshop compatible plug-ins offers effects/filters in the following groups.
The filters below address a wide range of design areas. (Type, graphics and photographs).

35mm Frame: Make you image into a slide.
Chisel: Makes text look chipped and dented by using the depth bevel effects.
Crackle: Age photo’s with cracks and crackled ground surfaces.
Crease: Bend your Favorite photos to give them the worn look. (a personal favorite)
Cubism: Make your main image artistic in style or emphasize into geometric shapes.
Deckle: Is great for tearing the edges of photos, creating rips.
Dimension X: Features unique bevel types and styles, surface maps and surface textures with lighting sources.
Focus: Great for creating a soft focus looking image like a portrait or use it to make your image look like it’s in motion.
Hot Stamp: Ads vibrant creative glows and color blends to type and clipart. Good for making rollover effects on buttons for web pages.
Instamatic: Puts your photos in a frame. Make old worn old frames or brand new shiny ones.
Liquid Metal: Make text or clipart look like mercury or any metal.
Metal Mixer: Make text or clipart into shiny metal with rough parts in it. Mix metal and colours together.
Photo Border: Ads creative borders very easily to your images; make them look old and dirty or shiny and new. Has a cool stamp boarder too.

Photo Depth: Allows you to add depth to your photos. Make it look bent along the edges or/and raise up parts of the image for that depth look.
Photo Tone: Gives images a sepia look. Make your images look ghosted.

Putty: a fun tool to use, just like Photoshop’s own Liquify tool. Make your friend into an alien; make those Mr. Spock ears on him/her.
(Reminds me for the Liquify tool in Photoshop)
Ripple: Make realistic looking ripples and waves on your images.
Tape: Yep you got it make all kinds of tape. Masking tape, transparent tape, sports tape and duct tape.
Make tape look old, make tape look ripped and its very easy to use. (Great fun).
Installing:
Dream Suite Bundle (Dream suite one)works as both a plug-in and as a stand alone application for Windows 98/NT/2000/ME/XP or Power Macintosh systems running OS 9 or higher. Dream Suite Bundle runs native under all versions of OS X.
Just run the disk and follow the on screen information, if you want it to work as a plug-in point to your plug-ins folder. I would make a plug-ins folder outside of Photoshop, just in case you have to un-install Photoshop that way you don’t have to install every other plug-in you have again. The first time you launch the program it will ask you for the serial number. All the Dream Suite Series comes with the Mac and PC versions both on the disk.
My thoughts:
Overall Dream Suite one effects has put together a great and strong collection of filters that will work as a Plug-in for Photoshop and as a stand alone program. I found them all easy to use and very effective. And it’s great that there are all in one interface.
